TDS scheduled channel security upgrade

Please be advised that TDS has scheduled an important security upgrade of your television channels between October 26th and November 10th, 2020

During this time, TDS will transmit a signal to active TDS decoders and we strongly recommend that customers leave their TDS decoders switched on and on any channel; your television may remain off.

Once the TDS decoder receives the signal, the television image will disappear for between one and two hours and this will allow for the signal to be incorporated into the TDS decoder.

We must also emphasize the importance of having you TDS decoder turned on during this window as it will not receive the signal once it is turned off.

Due to the large number of TDS subscribers it is not possible for us to provide exact dates and times that each individual decoder will receive the signal. Thus, we have allotted a maintenance window of between October 26th and November 10th, 2020.

If you notice that your TDS decoder is not functioning properly following the maintenance window, please contact our Help Desk at 9242. Calls to the Help Desk at 9242 are free of charge for all Chippie and fixed-line UTS numbers.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused and we thank you for your cooperation and understanding.
