Roaming Miles: Win a trip with AA to anywhere in US
1.1 These Terms and Conditions of participation for the “Roaming Miles: Win a trip with AA to anywhere in the USA” campaign, including information on how to participate, information for promotion associated functions and price details form the entire terms and conditions of this promotion. It’s the responsibility of the participant to read and fully understand the Terms and Conditions of this promotion and participant is deemed full acceptance of these terms and conditions.
1.2 The campaign will last until December 31, 2018 (promotional period)
2.1 Entry into “Roaming Miles: Win a trip with AA to anywhere in the USA”, campaign, is only for residents of Curaçao aged 18 and overr.
2.2 To participate in this campaign, participants must have registered for our Roaming Miles service on miUTS.cw
2.3 UTS accepts no responsibility for any late, lost or misdirected entries due to technical disruptions, network congestions or any other reason
2.4 Participants understand that they are providing their information to UTS. The information the participant provides will only be used for the purposes outlined in these Terms and Conditions.
3. Validity of Entries
3.1 UTS reserves the right at any time:
a. to verify the validity of the entries and participants (including a participant’s identity, age and place of residence); and
b. to disqualify any participant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with the Terms and Conditions.
c. Invalidate any entries which it reasonably suspects have been submitted: Using false, incorrect, fraudulent or misleading information, including personal details and incorrect information.
3.2 All information becomes the property of UTS.
3.3 UTS agrees to use and handle private information solely for the purposes of this campaign. UTS will not disclose any private information to any third party.
3.4 UTS may use the winner’s personal information for the issuing of competition prize.
4. Winner Announcement
4.1 Winners will be selected on January 5th 2018 and contacted between January 8th, 2017 till January 10th, 2018 in order to collect their prize.
4.2 The publication of raffle results: the names of the winners will be published on the UTS facebook page, website and in other local media.
4.3 Winners have until January 12, 2018 to collect their prize at the UTS main office at Berg Arrarat 1.
4.4 The winners will be notified via the registered Chippie mobile number for the Roaming Miles service.
4.5 UTS shall under take to call winners a maximum of four (4) times in the period of time specified in this clause therein calling the chippie number to which the winning ticket was issued.
4.6 In case a winner cannot be reached under clause 6 such winner forfeits her/his rights to a prize and UTS will elect another winner true a second drawing.
5. Winner Prize Details
The participant will win:
I. 2 round trip tickets to anywhere in the USA (blackout dates are subject to T&C of AA and the ticket class is based on Economy seats/section.) at a value of 60.000 roaming miles
II. 5000 roaming miles
III. 1000 roaming miles
6. Summer Campaign Conditions
6.1 The package is valid for a period of 1 year, starting from the day the prize is delivered.
6.2 Both the winner and their companion are responsible for all out of pocket and additional expenses not stated in these Terms and Conditions, including but not limited to spending money, consumption, airport arrival/departure transfers, any activities, travel insurance and any other ancillary costs.
6.3 It is each traveler’s personal responsibility that they have valid documentation, including but not limited to valid passports and visas, of immigration and other government authorities at your destination.
6.4 Any fines, penalties, payments, or expenditures incurred as a result of such a document not being in place/ meeting the requirements of those authorities, will be the sole responsibility of the travelers.
6.5 Ticket destination cannot be changed once decided.
6.6 Winner must be one of the travelers. If the winner is unable to travel (for example due to illness) he/she can pass on the prize by a written request including his and the other persons ID.
7.1 The tickets are to be used on American Airlines or American eagle flights.
7.2 The tickets are non-transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash or miles.
7.3 By accepting the prize, the winner agrees to participate and cooperate as required with all responsible media editorial requests relating to the prize for promotional purpose. (For example: placing it on the UTS site/Facebook or on any poster, leaflet or other advertising media).
7.4 Participant(s) give UTS irrevocable permission to use, reproduce, publish, display, transmit, copy, amend, store, sell and sub-license your entry worldwide for such promotional purposes of the competition.
7.5 If for any reason, the Campaign proves impossible to be run as planned because of circumstances including, but not limited to, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes, which, in UTS’ sole judgment, corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Campaign, UTS reserves the right - in its sole discretion - to decide on any issue in fairness, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Campaign and to select the winners from entries received prior to such event or interruption. UTS may disqualify any Participant who tampers with the entry process or operation of the Campaign or acts in breach with the letter and/or true purpose of these terms and conditions.
7.6 A right to be granted a prize obtained in this Campaign cannot be transferred to another person, exchanged or redeemed for cash.
7.7 Each winner in this Campaign must, at the time of his or her collection of a prize won under this Campaign:
7.8 properly identify himself/herself and be in possession of a valid sedula, passport or driver’s license have in his/her possession the mobile equipment with the Chippie number to which his/her winning ticket was issued.
7.9 For all cases in which these terms and conditions do not fully provide adequate stipulations UTS shall seek reasonable solutions therein weighing its own interests and Participants’ interests.
7.10 All decisions of UTS under these terms and conditions shall be final and binding to all persons participating in this Campaign.
