St. Kitts & Nevis is no longer part of Chippieland

Willemstad July 12, 2017 – As of recently, St. Kitts & Nevis is no longer part of Chippieland, which is the virtual ‘land’ with the Chippie network. Chippieland currently consists of Curaçao, Bonaire, St. Maarten (Dutch and French side), Saba and St. Eustatius. Chippie users can enjoy the benefit of not having additional roaming costs with their Chippie when traveling to one of the destinations within Chippieland and will be charged the current local rate of the destination. Furthermore, Chippie users who have an active data bundle when traveling to a destination within Chippieland, can use the data in their bundle at no additional costs.

As St. Kitts & Nevis is no longer part of Chippieland, Chippie users must take note of the following changes:

  • Roaming rates are applicable for voice and data when using Chippie during a visit to St. Kitts & Nevis.
  • Chippie clients who make calls to St. Kitts & Nevis from any destination within Chippieland, will be charged the international rates for that destination.
