UTS announces a change in its information service 9221

Starting June 13, 2011 UTS introduces a change in its Contact Center service for calls to 9221.

As of June 13, customers who call 9221 can only receive information about local and interisland phone numbers.

For any other information on UTS regarding invoices, internet, fixed phone, mobile and TDS digital television, the customer must call 9242. This is the number that is mentioned on all billboards and advertisements of UTS.

The number 9242 is toll free!

Calls to 9221 are not toll free, but will be charged as usual. The charge is per call and not per minute.
Please take good note that due to the abovementioned change, the options menu for the numbers 9221 and 9242 have also been adapted.
