  • How do I select UTS Chippie Network when I'm back in Curaҫao?

    When back on the island, our customers will be connected automatically to our network, if the network selection is automatic. If your network is on manual, you need to select:

    - Select Network
    - Select Chippie or UTS (36291)

  • Does my voice mail work, when I’m traveling abroad?

    The voicemail is also operational with roaming, where UTS charges roaming costs for receiving voice mail calls. You can access your voicemail by dialing +5999- 519-9400.

    If you want to temporarily deactivate your voicemail to avoid these charges, please visit any of our UTS Stores at Renaissance, Sta. María, Gosieweg, Sta. Rosa or Caracasbaaiweg for more information. There is also a Chippie Store at Playa in Bonaire.

  • Does my BlackBerry Messenger work?

    Yes, BlackBerry® by Chippie customers are able to use the BlackBerry Messenger service. This means that when you are visiting another country and you use this BlackBerry Messenger service. It will make use of the network of a Telecom Provider in that country. Making use of the network of a Telecom Provider in another country is considered to be GPRS roaming. So you will be billed for the usage in Mbit rated per Mbit.

  • How can I receive and send e-mails?

    UTS data roaming service is automatically assigned to all postpaid BlackBerry® by Chippie subscribers and there is no need to subscribe or sign up in order to use this service. All other UTS postpaid mobile subscribers need to activate the ATE service on their device, in order to data roam just like they are used to do with voice, while traveling abroad.

    This means that the service is possible for all BlackBerry® by Chippie postpaid accounts and all Chippie postpaid accounts. You can browse, download important files, read and send e-mails while you are on a business trip or vacation. GPRS Roaming with prepaid accounts will be possible shortly.
